Physical Differences Between FiST 1.6L Ecoboost and Escape/Fusion/etc?

Following this thread.

FiST engines were built in England and shipped to Mexico. I doubt that was the case with the Escape/Fusion, but that’s just a guess. At the same time, I’ve always believed they were mechanically identical.

Also, what’s the engine code for this car? Do we get something cool like E888 or K24 or 2JZ?
They were built in wales which is where I’m from but the engine code is JTJA/JTJB for the euro 6 spec

It could be related to the heating recall. Earlier versions didn't have a temp sensor on the head, pre2015, post 2015 has this sensor built into it.

I'm using a 1.6L Turbo engine out of an 16' Escape. (US Spec). It's pushing near 400 crank at the moment.

I love that the most powerful version was put in the lightest car.
So Ford.
At least it was.
I'll never sell it. Too fun.
