I bought these off Amazon a week or two ago, shipped to South Africa.

I've installed them temporarily, haven't spliced in yet.
It works perfectly when the ignition is on with headlights, however, as soon as the car is actually started and running, it goes to solid white on the LED strip, no response to anything unless I turn it back to normal ignition on only. I've tried putting the negative cable in another slot to test, still does the same thing, I'm very sure I've wired it correctly.
Is there a voltage issue?
