Problems with Diode Dynamics?

I just wanted to see if anyone else had problems with diode dynamic bulbs failing. I had the tail light bulbs for only 2 years and the driver side tail completely died. Now one of my switchback turn signals is acting funny (3 years installed). The white "DRL" is losing brightness and the turn signal function sometimes flashes like a strobe light, but then will work perfectly the next day. Could this happen from wires coming loose on the resistors?

Has anyone else seen degrading performance? Is it one of those things that just happens to any LED? I haven't investigated inside the housing or wiring, so this might be a simple fix.

Can’t speak for tail lights but I have the SS3 fogs and they’re outstanding. No noticeable difference after a few years

Safe to assume then that it's my resistor wiring job then coming undone over the years haha.

I just looked up those SS3 fogs. They look amazing! Right now I just have chinese fogs in from amazon but def will be getting SS3s to throw some more light.

Could be the issues you are mentioning with the resistor wiring, but they do have a good reputation for both quality and customer service, I'd give them a shout if you don't see anything immediately wrong with how you've wired stuff up.

I know they have a very good reputation. I was just curious if others had longevity problems before I starting to unbutton things to investigate. It's most likely my fault. I am not too confident in my wiring skills now that you mention the resistors.
