Pulling timing at idle

I have a coworker who has a 17’ ST with 30k, he installed a BOV at the symposer and a week or 2 after he said he only got like 5 pounds of boost. He has a whoosh intercooler as well. He’s dizzy Stage 1 tune and when he flashed back to stock the car ran worse and the CEL illuminates with cylinder 3 misfire. I told him to pull up ignition corrections and CYL 3 was pulling like -3, -4 at idle, and when driving -20. He says he has a boost leak, he took it to a shop and they said his clutch is slipping and they sent him on his way. He has new plugs and took off the BOV and went back to stock with no change. Anyone have any ideas ?

If he's having misfire in one cylinder, look at plug, plug wire, coil. Also injector.

If he has a boost leak, it should be corrected by fixing all connections in the boost path properly.

Compression check is in order also* If he brings it to Fomoco they can run a compression check and injector test via dealer scanner/ computer program.
