Rear Torque Mount & Oversteer...

Recently fitted a Powerflex rear torque mount - it's made a big difference with no discernable downsides (bar one possible unexpected change - mentioned below!). More positive gear change, no yo-yo effect between changes, power goes down more cleanly, all good.

However, I'm damn near certain it's reduced the cars propensity to liftoff oversteer. My best guess is because the stiffer mount has reduced the engine's forward lateral movement off throttle, thus reducing weight transfer effect.

Has anyone else experienced this? I've been playing around with tyre pressures to try and reintroduce a little of it's oversteering nature, to no avail so far.

For anybody interested - I discovered that when I brought the car to a tyre shop to get new TPMS sensors, they put one of my older Goodyear's I had on the rear on the front, with the newer Goodyear on the rear. This made an incredible difference to the cars balance, pushing on in greasy bends and requiring too much brutality to get the rear to step out.

Before discovering this tyre mixup I even put the old RMM back in, which made no discernable difference to the balance.

So there you have it - choice of RMM apparently makes little to no difference to the cars handling nature.
