Rear wiper refill?

Replace mine annually. No refill factory or aftermarket so last year went with complete factory blade. This year decided to try to find replacement insert.

Reasons: 1) new plastic blade doesn't match faded plastic arm. 2) price, new factory part is ~$20.

Found a match to profile of the factory rubber with Michelin blades at Walmart. Bought the 26" blade, yields 2 replacements @ ~$4 each when cut to length, need to cut both rubber and metal strips.

Just wanted to put this out there as a solution or to see if anyone else has come up with something similar or better.

I bought mine in 2015 and have yet to change the wipers. They still work like the day I bought it. Maybe it's time [emoji848]

I just get the factory Motorcraft complete blades when the local dealers offer their parts discount coupons.

It ended up being something like $32.00 including tax, for all three last time I bought these. [:)]

Rainex and side-view mirrors. Maybe a single swipe to remove snow. Maybe. If nobody can catch you - who cares what's behind the rear glass.

Oh. red and blue lights....

for those who don't know, spray some wd40 or similar into a paper towel and wipe the blades. it will remove the dead rubber and sharpen them give you many years of life
