Just switched to the MTF2 and won't be switching back. It's that much better. And this is coming from someone who has used Redline in everything I've owned for 40 years. And that just might be the crux of the issue, wouldn't be surprised if Redline chemistry is same as it was 40 years ago while syncro tech has evolved.

The MTL was a 'go-to' fluid for the T56es in the 4th gen f bodies (Camaros and Firebirds) and C5s/ early C6es (Vettes), since the ATF that GM specced for those gearboxes was really too thin.

But yeah, it is probably not ideal for our IB6es, friction modifier-wise if not viscosity- wise. [wink]
