Windshield urethane will do the trick also.

I was going to go this route but had some of the permanent 3m tape laying around and gave it a whirl. Windshield adhesive is the "nuclear" option. Git'r done!

Ok it’s a marine sealant. That should be reassuring. Is there a tougher environment to try to seal something or keep something stuck together? If it doesn’t work Ill eat a spoonful of it

It works extremely well it's one of the best adhesives there is.
