Not the brightest pea in the pod and some what new to engine upgrades but is a new Blow off valve needed for the S280 turbo or is the stock one fine, thank you for the answers if there are any.

The stock one is meant for the stock turbo.

You'll want a new one, preferably mechanical BOV. Then you need to ask your tuner to disable P0035 or get a turbosmart CEL defender.

The stock valve will physically bolt up to the S280, so you could use it if you really wanted to.

i am perfectly happy with my Turbosmart EM Plumbback. It actually works better than a mechanical in my opinion as its tied into the ecu like the stock BPV so it reacts quicker. I have had no problems with it on my S280 tuned by tune+ .

It won't hold the boost well that the s280 can provide. But it will work.

Same thing. Do both types of valves vent pressure around the compressor when the throttle is closed? Yep.
