Shifter extensions and cup holders

So my biggest gripe with this car is the terrible cup holders. They're tiny and barely fit a large drink from most places. I've had plenty that don't fit and I had to hold it between my legs. My water cup is also pretty big and doesn't really fit but I wedge it in anyway. But the worst part about the cup holders is the location. If I have big cups in them, I have to contort my arm to be able to shift. I'm thinking of getting a 4" extender from Billet Workz to fix this.

Anyone have an extender and does it help your arm clear cups when shifting?

I don't have any issues with the cup holders at all. I have a much simpler idea how about buy a different water container or tumbler. I bring three tumblers with me everyday one goes in my lunch bag, one goes in the door cup holder until I get to work, and my coffee or morning thunder tea goes in the center.
