Sounds like for the new Fiesta and Focus model Ford is rolling out a new secure type of key fob

I wonder if it is possible to use one of these for the USDM cars. The technology basically has the fob turn off if it has not moved in a while, preventing thieves from snagging the signal/code by just walking past your desk or house. They can still get the code if you are walking around or actively unlocking your car.

Naw, buddy of mine has one for his S14, installing it isn't bad at all. Just sucks you can only get it from the UK I believe.

Yeah, My 2019 has the new SMART KEY. You can even program one for Valet....limits speed, stereo, etc.

I do like the trunk monkey security edition. I like to break out all the trunk monkey videos every couple of years to show folks, always a good laugh.
