Is mine different to everyone's or something??

Yours was made in Germany. Mine was made in Mexico. We didn't get the 3-door because Ford wasn't going to do all the tooling to make a 3-door version for such a low volume car in the Americas.
There would be a first for both factories.
Back in the day, the first new ones off the line would either get sold to VIPs or get used for testing. Not sure if that's still true today.

So....this has never been discussed. But who does have the very first Fiesta ST off the factory line? Let's get to documenting who has what. It needs to start....Owning a GMC Typhoon myself....I know where I stand in production with mine. We should figure it out as a community.

figured I would bump this.

Picked up a 2014 yesterday. Built 5/2013 and is number #56. Carfax showed it was a corporate vehicle for about 6 months...Wondering if it was used as a press vehicle.

How'd you get the Build number? I know my car was built around early 2016 but don't know the number based off the vin. Is there a certain site you can check?

Heres my VIN: 3FADP4GX0GM140652

(edited to add vin)

I'd also like to know build number. I remember back in the day someone was selling build number plates that they got numbering from a Ford internal system. It certainly would be worth seeing if anyone who works at Ford could get this information. Also iirc there was a movement at one point to talk to Ford to get actual Certificate of Authenticity registry for the Fiesta ST/Focus ST/Focus RS build numbers, but I'm not sure if that actually went anywhere.

What's interesting about the build numbers from the gentleman overseas that does the build plaques, is that I purchased one from him a few years ago.

My car was built in March of 2019 and I believe production of the Fiesta ST's ceased in May of 2019.

My build plaque states that my car is #9210 for the US. Does that mean that roughly 9,500 Fiesta ST's were built for the US?

I've read where people talk about production numbers in the 35,000 range, but it was never clarified if that number was for the US or worldwide?

Any insight?

Found the thread regarding COAs, seems like it flatlined a while ago. I did find the Ford website and just sent off an email asking if there are any plans to make Fiesta ST COAs available, or if there would be a minimum number for Ford to expend the effort to create them. If there a number, maybe we could get a group buy together to make it happen. TBD on that, if/when I receive an email response I'll update here.

35,000 I bet is for the world, I don't think the plant in MX made too many STs (when compared to the basic Fiesta models).
