Hi, I’ve got a 2015 fiesta st3 and wanting to remap it to stage 1. Will I need better parts like clutch, induction kit etc? Is it safe to get it remapped? Thanks

Stage 1 requires no additional parts.

The stock turbo is the limiting factor for power in these cars, the clutch, exhaust, intake etc are all good for over 300hp.

Remapping a car always introduces some risk, but a slight tune is not going to impact longevity much.

What he said. Sums it up perfectly. Just make sure you use a reputable tuner such as Revo on your side of the pond. No “dyno shop on the corner can tune Ford ecoboosts” kind of business.

The only thing I'd recommend upgrading with any tune is the radiator. This doesn't apply across all our cars, but some of them seem to suffer from cooling issues. It seems to be a toss up on whether your car will suffer from it.

You'll know if you need it though, it's pretty obvious in the summer.

The radiator wont get you more power or anything but you might see a lil fuel economy improvement.
