Steelies Year Round?

I know people will run winter tires on steelies, but I've actually been thinking about running 16" steelies year round.

Reason? I wanted to drop down to 16" tires with more profile, and I actually like the look of steelies (I know, right?).

Are there any concerns I should have with running 16" steelies?

Any recommendations for particular steel wheels and tire size if I plan on running these year-round?

Other than possibly weighing more, I can’t imsgine steelies will do any harm. I believe 205/45/16 is the closest to stock size, being slightly shorter overall.

I run 205/50-16's, love the ride even with the noisy RE71R. I personally wouldn't run steel wheels due to the weight, as I would imagine they would weigh at least as much as the stock wheels.
