any fade with the new setup at snetterton? i follow british superbikes so i'm semi familiar with the layout. iirc 3 heavy braking zones?
No brake fade for me. I'm running stock power levels, so I can't say whether or not you would experience any brake fade with this brake set up with increased power levels.

Just ordered the stoptech slotted rotors with ebc redstuff pads from car id.
Question tho, the rotors bolt right on with no modification correct?

Mine did just have to make sure they are on the correct side for rotation direction per instructions in the stop tech box

I use Stop Tech rotors as well.
About 13 inches of them.

Don't worry about the drilled style as I will wear them out and replace before they crack.
Also the price was right.

BTW, this BBK setup is available from Lapp Racing.

Drilled/slotted rotors.

My brakes are just perfect.
Tremendous additional stopping power.
Great peddle pressure.
Just as smooth as OE if not better.

What pads are you using?
I am very happy with the OE Ford pads.
I prefer pads that are not as aggressive.
I would rather replace the pads more frequently, not the rotors.

I do believe that Centric is the lower line from StopTech.

I may be wrong.

thread jack/ update..... went with Stoptech rotors, ss line, hawk 5.0 pads in the front and hps for the rear and ATE superBlue fluid. I pounded the hell out my brakes at the Ring during Memorial weekend and they worked awesome and are still going strong. Supposed to be an open track day at Hockenheim next month ill see how they hold up then since that track is pretty brake heavy.

I did say "about" so don't crucify me.
They are closer to 12.75 inches.

It took us a long time to find and setup an "off the shelf" rotor.
However the rotors must be re-drilled.
The kit will be sold with or without rotors for those that wish to do the work themselves.
The kit will add 5lbs per side but at about half the cost of Wilwood's set.
Not a bad tradeoff for a daily driver.

An 11 inch rear kit is in development now.

Dave
Is this kit still available? And if so cost?

Thanks Dave :)

Msg'd them to see what comes of this.

Ideally something less costly than a full wilwood kit and utilizing the stock caliper or another larger stock Ford caliper could be the way to go.

Kinda like what the 240sx guys do with z32 calipers.

Damn, their site states that caliper adapter is for non-ST Fiesta

Did anyone happen to weigh the Stoptech slotted (or drilled, or slotted/drilled) front/rear rotors above and see whether there is any weight savings compared with the OEM rotors? Thanks.
