Thermal adaptor?

About to order a thermal exhaust if I ran just the stock downpipe do I need the 3” adaptor from whoosh? I just genuinely don’t know pretty new to this stuff any help would be appreciated, car is a 2014

You don’t need the adapter if you’re going to stock exhaust. If you plan on upgrading to a 3in downpipe in the future then I say buy it now to have it on hand and save on shipping, if not then don’t bother
