Throttle body stuck open?

Today I warmed up the car, drove approximately 4 miles normally to the highway, and ran wide open in 3rd gear from 3000-6000 rpm on the highway on-ramp. The traction control was going nuts trying to stop the spinning tires(I usually turn it off, didn't this morning). I let off the throttle and turned on the cruise. It held the target 65mph for a mile or so, but then sped up a little or slowed down depending on the hills. I tried to turn off the cruise & step on the brakes to cancel cruise, and neither stopped the throttle. I just let it drive itself to work. STFT, LTFT, AFR, IGN CORR were all fine while driving.

When I got to work to park, the engine would idle, but rough, and I got the "wrench" icon. I turned off the engine and looked at throttle position on my Cobb. The pedal shows 0 at idle, 82 at wide open. I started the engine twice in the parking lot, it went wide open immediately, so I turned off the engine quickly before it reached 4000 rpm. It didn't seem rough, but it was happening quickly.

Seems like the throttle body is stuck. I can't find much on Google. Anybody heard of this happening on our cars? I guess I'l look at the throttle body blade, maybe uninstall the Cobb, and see what happens.

6,200 miles, bought in 12/2015 with 4,000 miles. No problems until now.

Good idea to uninstall the Cobb AP completely.
See how things work then.
Then if necessary call your dealer.

I see you have Cobb AP and said a "wrench" icon appeared on the dash....Run a quick check to see what (if any) DTC codes might have been thrown which could provide some additional info as to why this happened...good luck!

UPDATE:

This morning there were no codes, just the big wrench icon.

Went back outside later in the daylight, checked codes (P061B & P2282), and uninstalled the Cobb. While waiting for that, I opened the hood to find my pcv hose loose/out of the intake manifold. I must not have "clicked" the factory connector in place fully when I added the Boomba check valve and the boost pushed it out. It's been on there for two weeks. Anyway, connected the hoe, started it up, no problems. I wanted to high-five everyone at work I was so happy. I just made the first payment a couple of weeks ago lol.

A few lessons learned:

1. Always check factory hose connections, boost is no joke.
2. The Boomba check valve holds 22 lbs of boost, for sure.
3. The Ecoboost will not let itself die LOL. An older car would've died at idle with a 3/4" vacuum leak.

Always good to check first the last thing you worked on.
Glad to hear that it was nothing major.
