Time Delay with factory HU?

So I'm pretty sure that with the head unit set to "Driver" position there is some time delay going on to center the image for the driver at the expense of the passenger. But is there any time delay going on when set to All Seats? I ask because I'm installing a Cadence DSP tomorrow and it will make things a little easier to know before hand. (the 8 channels out will be front tweeters [in A Pillar], mids in front doors, midbass in rear doors, and sub).

That, I cannot answer. The facts I know and will be jumping straight too..

OEM DSP. It's there, but we are in luck and we the same signal front to rear.

I will be using a DSP as well and fixing it all from the laptop.

I have deleted the rear seats already as well as the speakers. 4chan non bridged to the upgraded tweets and mid's.

A second amp for a 10" sealed sub.

I am using the rear doors as dedicated midbasses (80-320hz). Already doing that and you can't even tell they are there, they just enhance the midbass output.

Is there any way to hook a laptop up to the head unit using the USB connection? I can get my phone to connect. But even so all I can get it to play are recorded files, nothing "live".
