That's interesting that the owner's manual wouldn't specify a time interval. Perhaps there's one in the service manual?

They usually base that on averages. The average US cit is said to average 10-12k per year. So if you divide 150 by 12, that comes out to 12.5 years.
Search 20XX Model Year Ford Warranty Guide for your vehicle. For 2015 Spanish version:

So the Spanish version specifies 110, but the English specifies 150. Makes sense...

I saw that massive speed system makes a timing tool set for the 1.6 now. Something that will help us do it yourself folks

I'm all about doing my own work, but I'll probably pay to have this done.
Realistically it's a one-time thing if you keep the car long-term.

@yfontalv - I checked the revision date (described as "First Printing") for the English (US/Canada) "2016 FIESTA Owner’s Manual" that I downloaded from Ford a few years ago and it's May 2015. Does the Spanish version you downloaded have the same "First Printing" month/year?

Sometimes you don't have a choice, either time-wise or space-wise, but I frankly don't trust others to do that work. I did the belt at least three times with my prior vehicle. Paint and more especially bodywork require some level of skill/experience to do it right, but hanging parts is mostly about following instructions.
