Tune HP Differences

Hey everyone.

I'm trying to understand some numbers. I was running an off the shelf Cobb stage 2 93 tune for a couple months before I got my Dizzy stage 2.
The Dizzy made the car more zippy for sure with 4-6 psi more in the boost and more torque. However, my horsepower numbers have dropped about 20hp on average.

Now I know that the Accessport estimate isn't all that accurate, but these numbers are consistent. I even switched back today just to see if I was crazy. I'm not.

Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5?

You’d have to run a full WOT log to gain an understanding of what’s happening. Dizzy tune probably runs higher boost down low and tapers as RPMs rise. Cobb’s tunes are notoriously safe which makes sense here given that our tiny turbos are more torque biased than HP since they run out of steam entirely around 5500 RPM. Run a WOT log on each one flooring it at 2500 RPM to redline in 3rd gear, then we can actually get an idea of what’s happening.
