Unused port on stock airbox?

Hi, I just noticed something on the lower part of my air box, an unused port.

Does anybody know if it's supposed to be unused, or is there a line missing that should be plugged into it?
I added pics below for reference.

I might have noticed it before and I might have asked about it before, but I can't remember or find any relevant threads.

It clips into a bracket on the front body. At least on mine it did, a mid 2014.

Hmmm... perhaps it's one of those 2014-2015 vs 2016-2019 differences.
