Update Navigation With Newer SD Card from a Wrecked Car?

Hello, fellow FiST'ers! I have a '14 FiST with navigation, and am wondering if I could update the NAV information by getting an SD Card from a wrecked '17 FiST. The info on the current SD Card is kinda dated. For example, it doesn't recognize a newer bridge, and when I cross it, it looks like I'm flying over the river! Would probably be a lot cheaper than buying a new SD Card from Ford. Whatcha think?

eBay has some for reasonable prices. I've had good luck buying updated cards for my 2015 FiST on there. Just search around and you can find some deals. Patience is key to getting a better price.

In that case, what is the most up-to-date SD Card that I can get for my car? I see A5, A6, A7, A8, & A9 offerings on eBay, many of which state "fits Ford Fiesta". Some questions:

1. Will any of these SD Cards work in my FiST; i.e.: are they universal for all Ford cars?
2. If these are not universal, how do I verify that it will work in my car?
3. Which one has the latest & greatest data?

I work in parts at a Ford dealer- the most current is A9. The A10 should be available in 6-8 weeks [emoji1303]

It's just mapping updates, they're universal for all Ford that use them, I'm still on A4

whats a good price for an A9? they are like $50+ USD

I went from the A4 to an A8 last year.
I bought it NEW on eBay for about $25.
The A10 should be about that price before the end of this year.
