Hi all, I recently had the purge valve replaced on my 2016. I was having the common problem of the idle going down after a gas fill up, even if I didn't add any gas after the pump clicked off, and even if I left the nozzle in the filler neck for a while afterwards.It did stall but only once, but I decided to have the valve replaced while I had the car in for service anyway.
My mechanic, who is very knowledgeable about Fiesta STs, told me that Ford had an updated part for the purge valve which works better so I just thought I'd pass that on. I don't have a part number, but I'll post it if I can get one.
