so iv been researching our turbo the kp39..iv found that it was originally on the jetta as most of you know. iv also found theres an alternate turbo for those jettas called the vnt-17 and its larger and makes more power. naturally I'm wondering if this will work in our cars and make more power?

The VW kp39 is actually nothing like our "kp39". Other than ford calling it a KP39, most turbo-people still call it a K03.

I'm glad you said this, I almost bought a BPV delete for the VW turbo. Or rather, I was looking for one since I couldn't find one for our turbo. lol.

Looking at them in person, the vw tdi kp39 has almost identical turbine housing; hot/cold. Our "kp39", "k03" has an uber tiny exhaust housing just bolted next to the cold side!
