"HUGE TURBO and fat-fendered Volvo S60 racecar makes 400-HP but with a tiny, 1.6L 4-banger. Oh yeah, it's FWD and only weighs 2,400 lbs!"

420k? You can have a 400whp Fiesta for small fraction of that price.

Hopefully, they are building them better than the ole 2.5L I-5 race cars they raced in the GT class a long time ago. Those old awd Kpak cars broke like 60% of races.

I hope some notice the front on the tires are covered and open in the rear like a real flare kit should be.

Covered on the rear is nice for a daily driver to help keep the car clean.

$420k, I would hope it is not an H box, should be sequential at that price point.

I would love to take it out for a few laps:)

-------------

Just read the story and love the car abd series, a very serious challenge for the teams and drivers to tame that kind of FWD power on track...my car right now is making around 300WHP and 285 ft lbs. With 225 Rival S tires are nearly as stick as the RA1 track tires I have as well and the car is a handful to drive at speed in the twisty back roads, especially with considerable lag a bit dangerous at times, why going to a smaller turbo with less lag and will have a bit more power but will have a milder tune or two more appropriate for the situations at hand as it will be faster if I can control it better.

I am really looking forward to seeing what kind of lap times they get out of the car compared to similar built RWD cars.

What could I do with $400k? I know I could make one hell of a FiST and it would be 10 times than that I shit you not. Plus it's a Volvo.... thats stands for VaginasOnlyLoveVolvosOnly/VOLVO. Last time I checked I am NOT a VAGINA.[rockon]

I loved my Volvo. First car. I still want to build an early 1990's Volvo 244 some day. Turbo-bricks will always be in my heart.
