Hello, If this is the wrong forum sorry, I'm new here! Anyways I recently purchased a beautiful 2014 fiesta st and I am in love. However, looking under the car we found that it is straight piped and seems to have a catless DP. Personally, this is not my style and from what I hear it doesn't do much except for make more noise. My question is, what would be the best way to get a cat in my system? The car did not have any stock parts with it, so I would need to either buy a new catted dp or a universal cat, but i'm not sure if that is the best option. Also, I'm wanting to quiet down the exhaust, i'm not crazy about noise but when I give it a lot of throttle I want to hear some good, reasonable sounds. I know they have stuff we can bolt or weld in, but would it be best to get a new cat back as well? I'm new to this stuff, but I'm wanting to learn! Thanks!

Welcome!
I'd start a thread in the WTB section of this forum. Stock cats sometimes come up for sale. Same for stock exhausts. For a short term fix, try to find any old universal muffler to quiet things down until you can get something else.

The stock cat/exhaust works fine, and aftermarket ones don't make any more power unless you're going big turbo.

If your state won't ding you for an aftermarket catalytic, like my state (CA) will, I'd get a Whoosh one. It's got an extra bung so you can add an O2 sensor for an AFR gauge in the future and it's also has the support bracket. Plus Ron is a very well respected vendor in the Fiesta community and has excellent customer service to boot. The URL below is to the specific downpipe, I'm referring to.
