I have had the Cobb acessport for a few months now but I feel like I haven't really used it. I bought it and set it to stage one. But that was it. I've got the injen cold air intake, and Cobb exhaust (no downpipe) and I was just wondering if there were any tunes I could download without having an aftermarket intercooler. Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

What are your overall goals? How much power do you want? What modifications do you plan on having in the future? Is reliability a concern? Warranty cautious? These are things you will want to figure out before you get a tune.

I would get the tune that is the most future proof, meaning you can easily change it to adapt to your modifications as you go and that meet your budget. If I could do it all over again, I'd stick with any tune from one of the sponsors of the forum, they all do great work and have pricing levels to meet your budget and modification goals. Everyone also likes different things about different tunes, so do your research and figure out what you want out of a tune.

I think the main think I would look for at this moment and for the future is more steady power rather than just being at the torque curve. I'm still new to tuning so I'm not sure if that's something I can achieve. But I do plan on getting a fmic in the future but other than I think that's all I want to do. I'm in Northern California so all I can get around here is 91 when it comes to gas.

I'd recommend a lifetime tune from Adam at Tune+. Everytime you change a part he'll tweak it and retune your car to get the most out of it, even multiple types of fuel (91, 93, E30 ect). Thats literally as future proof as it gets...add a fmic retune....add a DP retune...upgrade to a x37 turbo retune....all for just $300. I personally went from Stage 1 OTS 93 octane to his E30 tune and it's added 40-50 WTQ and drives/feels much better in general. Just my .02 but it's nice knowing ANY upgrade you add (or fuel type) you're always going to get 100% and don't have to worry about it... ever.

I say deadhook motorsports. They make the fastest cars and don't blow engines.
Good turn around time, and they answer any question you might have. I've done a 93 tune and an e30 tune on my car with DHM. Love the results

Got to recommend stratified, their ots+ tunes are top notch. $50 for their tune or $75 for their e30 tune. You won't regret either one, the difference their tune makes just daily driving is worth it. I'm about to get their e30 tune in a couple weeks myself.

Are they as geared towards the almost stock, minimal mods crowd, as they are for the insane, all-out, BT kit crowd (which they are known for, and who I would undoubtedly go with were I to do a BT kit, NO question! ;) )?

I know a great tuner is a great tuner, but I'm just asking about experience with differing mod levels. [dunno]

They tune any fiesta. I know people with stock cars (focus st) and stage 2 fiesta's (intercooler) with the deadhook tune and they love it
