What's a good primer for the engine cover?

I'd like to paint it with the Blue Metal Cast Anodized Color, but not sure which primer works best for plastic.

I got my favourite body shop to do mine. Have no idea. The silver ST on mine is scratched around the edge, so when I took off the old one, I realised that I could take off the original and replace the scratched one. Might find out the cost of a new one from the dealer.

I don't know how hot is too hot, but since it's under the hood. It could be necessary with high temp paint.

A rustoleum primer or something is fine for plastic... and DupliColor makes some good high-temp ceramic "engine paint"
