Will it be worth the hassle?

I'm just curious will it be worth trading my 2015 ow base fist for a 2016 magnetic fist with recaro seats? I'm full stage 3 so would be swapping all my mods over. Just seems like it would be a hassle :/. Plus the trade in but I really want a magnetic gray fist..

That sounds crazy. You'd probably be better off just buying new seats if you really want them.

If you absolutely MUST do the trade in to get the seats, wait for the eventual ST200 model we get in the US.

New seats. You could get a really nice pair of seats for the depreciation gap between your car and a new one

This is most important and you won't get the color by just changing the seats.
However, if you are okay with aftermarket seats it would be a lot cheaper.
To put in OEM Recaro seats would be very expensive.

There is hardly no Information on how to install aftermarket seats.. Or hardly anybody doing it. I can deal with my white fist honestly I need some recaros but they are so hard to find :( . Hopefully someone that does have aftermarket seats can chime in

If you really like Magnetic with Recaros, I'd say go for it if it is worth it and feasible for you. Personally, I think Magnet with Recaros is really hot, so I'm a bit biased. Will you be yanking out the mods on the OW by yourself?

Speaking from experience, trading a new car in on another new car that's almost exactly the same is not, financially, a smart decision.

As someone that could afford to make that dumb decision, I had zero regrets for having made it. Whether the incurred cost is worth it to you or not won't fully be known until you run the numbers at the dealership. It never hurts to look into it, minus the credit hit for the inquiry, and no one on this forum will be able to give you those actual numbers.

Ask for a Soft Check. It will not affect your credit score.

I traded a '14 Titanium for a '14 ST so it was not a financially wise decision. No regrets either. However, I'd better be more financially careful in the future or I'll wind up in the poorhouse. I'm supposed to be retired but find myself working again to pay for my extravaganzas.
