Great tires but $$$$, depending on your needs they might be the best or not best solution, read the tire rack and other reviews before deciding;)

If you wish you could post a bit more info so we can help you make the right decision.

Intended use as in street, track, autocross, mountain or canyon runs, all year use, summer or 3 season use, miles you want to get from them, sizes, budget, etc....

A lot of things to consider when picking the tires that will best fit your needs.

They are great tires and may be the best or not a great choice for your particular situation.

It's going on the stock rims and it will be street, mountain run, autox, an maybe some track days. Mileage Im not worried about. I like the stock potenzas they just reach 30k on them it's impressive that they lasted this long since i have a heavy foot.
Size is going to be 205/45/17 on stock suspension

Heavy foot and 30k on stock tires? Lol...

I barely got 14.5k out of the stock tires. [bawling]

Ah, gotcha. That would definitely make a difference. Our FiST is the wife's daily and I rip on it on the weekends. I also did one autocross and a weekend at VIR full on those tires, which I am sure reduced my overall mileage significantly. :p

I ran ado8s in the past but not the r version.I loved them. Had better turn in than other street tires I tried imo. I'd buy again.

I have a set of 215/40x17 AD08R's on 17x8 et 48 TD's. I really like the tires - turn in response and dry grip are excellent. Wet, they're not very good. I won't buy another set of these tires though in this size. Suggested pressure for maximum grip is 32 psi HOT. That's just not enough pressure for the street. I've bent 3 wheels on the street which I've replaced. If I was to do it again, I'd go with 15 or 16's with say the RE-71R's in a higher profile.

At higher PSI, they feel kinda greasy. For the track at lower psi, they're great - for the street, I'd look elsewhere.

I just got them about 1k miles ago and what a tire! They are 80-85% of a michelin pilot sport for 60-65% of the price. I put 215/35s on my stock 17s. Wider contact patch and no sacrifice in comfort. Get them if this is your price range and use of the tire.
