I've had it 5 days and i love it! i've had all kinds of performance and enthusiast cars, and this is one of my favorites already. I've had 2 first gen taurus SHO's, VW GTi, 04 pontiac GTO, mazda RX7, and right now, while not really a performance car, the wife has a 2014 mazda6 touring.

anyway, 5 days in and i already did the "airbox mod". seemed like a good idea, so i did a similar mod on the wife's 6. i think they like each other :)

on the Fiesta, rather than cram my hand down in there with a razor knife i decided to use a 1 1/4" hole saw and drill two hole in the same location and then cleaned it up with a dremel. much easier than cramming my biggish hands down in there! we shall call the the double barrel airbox mod, mod. i think it could be more passable as "factory"

anyway, here's a few pics i shot this morning.

hello from mansfield texas!

Mike d

thanks all! i swear if i took all my favorite parts of all my favorite cars and put them all together, this would be it! and yes, i'll definitely be able to pick it out in the parking lot! almost 20 years ago i had a '84 GMC S15 Jimmy lifted on 31's... and it was Kawasaki Lime Green :) that thing got attention! ;)

The only down fall off this color is trying to keep in clean, especially with the dirty brake pads. And if you live in a state that gets snow and uses rock salt, forget about it.

i'm originally from PA, so i know exactly what you're talking about! we've only had snow down here once this year, and tha was preceded by a 70 degree day, and then a huge ass tornado, and then snow... gotta love texas weather!

Welcome - there seems to be few of us in TX; I've only come across five others in the Dallas area.
we should do a meet up for all the locals at cars and coffee or something... once it's warmer and before it gets stupid hot... so april ;) i used to have an 04 GTO, and i thought i was rare seeing another one of those! it was funny though, the day i drove mine off the lot, as soon as i hit the service road a guy pulled up beside me in a black one.. think it had red wheels..??

I try to go to Cars & Coffee the 1st Saturday of every month in Plano; I've seen two FoSTs there, but no FiSTs ever.
