Wi-Fi antenna location?

I have a hard time connecting to Wi-Fi networks in the car because most are too far away. The range of the car doesn't seem to be very good. Anyone know where the Wi-Fi antenna is?

One thing I did was put a WIFI repeater in the garage. It was around $30 and plugs in a wall outlet. If you don't have garage plug it into the closest outlet you have to the car. That said I have never seen the car do a WIFI update except once. The manual update seems very vague on whether it even checked or not. I was under the impression that once connected to your WIFI it would take care of itself, yet I am still lugging a USB stick out when version 3 came. Maybe others have a different experience or the Nav unit updates maps. I have the non nav API.
