Can the Fiesta ST Run on E85 gasoline

Saw a video posted of what looks to be a run down of Fiesta ST and it said that it is compatible with E85 fuel but not tuned for it. Can anyone verify this?

I know it can use non-premium fuel, but they suggest for the best performance you'll need premium.

I will find out on the E85 from Ford and get back to you.

Here's the response back from Ford.

The 1.6L EcoBoost Engine is capable of E85 but not in the Fiesta ST application (vehicle fuel system items, etc. haven’t been upgraded for E85). It is a vehicle to vehicle decision. Some other Ford vehicles with the 1.6L EcoBoost are E85 capable.

So in essence the 1.6L EcoBoost is E85 compatible on other models using it, just not in the Fiesta ST because the fuel system isn't designed for it.

The ST manual specifies 87+ Octane.
