Rear brake disc

Anyone have rust edge?
My friend think its due to salty roads, im not so sure.
Its on the drivers side.

same here, once it gets warm just take a paper towel and spray it with W-D 40 and it comes right off, or light steel whool.

If using WD 40 be very careful not to get any on the pads. Brake cleaner might be a better option but facts are factory rotors will rust.

Yes they all rust, but rust edge is only on the rear disc driver side, so i thought this was a bit unusual, but maybe not
May friend think its because of salt splashing from passing cars.

My rear rotors are grooving due to the fact my rear pads are TOAST after only 15,000 mi. Never had pads go that fast. Thinking parking brake needs adjustment. Will see about warranty and if dealer actually stocks pads for ST.

Changed my rear pads today, and found the reason for my rust edge.
Two of the sliding bolts in calipers where stuck, added some grease, brakes works as they should now.
After some braking rust edge is starting to disappear.
