Randy@Mountune AP3 Tune Modular?

Hey there,

Looking into a tune for the FiST. Considering the Mountune MP215 kit mainly for the higher HP numbers in the upper end. On the other hand, wondering if I installed a better flowing intake and purchased the AP3 from Mountune, would Randy be able to custom make a tune which is close to the MP215 kit's performance? Meaning, would he be able to tune for the improved air intake.

Yeah a Mountune AP or Cobb AP from them. Honestly I would suggest just going with other protuners if you already have an AP.

The standard Cobb Accessport from mountune USA includes all of the standard Cobb calibrations along with a bespoke mountune calibration built to your specifications based on your modifications, octane, and preferences/requirements. mountune optimized calibration goes beyond the standard calibrations included with the Accessport. Engine performance is optimized by reviewing data logging files along with calibration revisions based on feedback from the end user. The duration of the calibration and file revision period is 45 days from the time the first file revision is sent to the customer. Multiple calibrations can also be requested during this time period. Once the 45 day period has expired the custom calibration period ends. That would be the best way.
However give him a call, I believe you can still purchase a custom tune.

Randy did my tune when I bought my AP3 from them. Couldn't be happier. It is a good way to get a better out of the box performance from your car based on location and fuel. You can't beat a dyno tune, but bang for the buck it is very good.
