So yesterday when I pressed the ignition button (not started) I hear a growling grinding type sound. Could not think of what it was. Now the sound is continuing but more of a buzzing, I am certain that it is the fuel pump/primer.

The issue is intermittent sometimes sounds fine others not so much. The car drives fine I can?t tell any issues, yet?
Any Ideas?

Warning I do start the car it gets a bit loud there:

Thank you, and I did hear of that. I don't believe our ST's are listed as affected though. I keep checking my vin and I get the same results. Not affected.

Im guessing the sound is verified as less than healthy[mecry]

IIRC, someone had a fuel pump fail and had it warrantied.

Silly me! So get this if you're fuel is already primed, and you push the ignition again, the primer pump deal makes a wonky noise.
