Suggestions For New Meeting Location

I like your idea, but if we're meeting across the street from where I work, that's a meet I'm not going to. I want to be as far away from that place as possible when I'm off. lol

You also have folk from Ventura County and the Santa Clarita area as well.
Too far east will hinder them.
Maybe an East and West Valley meet point is appropriate.

Another thing to consider is atmosphere as well as price.
Conversation while eating at a Sports Bar is more difficult for example.
Menu options are also things to think about as some people have limited budgets and tastes.

These are just some thoughts.


I was thinking about the Denny's across from Galpin Ford.
On the east side and next to the 405, open all night so if you don't go in until after 9:00pm there is no problem.
This is better for those that don't get off work until 7:00 pm or have to deal with traffic.
You can stay seated longer not having to worry about them closing.
Their back room is available for us, with a diverse menu at reasonable prices.
The parking is good, also a Burger King and Taco Bell on the same lot.

I have no interest in attending these meats to begin with, so I'm out. Those that do attend should brainstorm a place that the majority can agree on and be happy with it. I'll continue to be absent from these meats.

And I thought that this Denny's would benefit you the most.
As with any suggestion we must list the pros and cons.
The only con so far with this location is that it is too close to your work.

The only other person that wanted this meet moved further to the east SFV doesn't even want to attend.
I only thought of this place as a SUGGESTION that you requested, not the solution until others agree.
As I pointed out above this Denny's does fit most everyone's needs, however.
It even fits the criteria you specified in the first post, A, B, and except for you, C.

I am sure that everyone is still open for more suggestions, this was just mine.
I also believe that there is NO one place that will satisfy everyone 100%

So far 3 out of 4 of the most regular attending people think this could be a good spot.
That could easley change with more suggestions.

As we did before we may need to try a few places until we find a new home.
I would like to further SUGGEST that we at least try this location this next Thursday.


BTW, we tried the Bob's in Burbank and that did NOT work out so well if you recall and there were only 3 of us there.

I vote for Denny's next to Galpin. Let's try it this week, see how it goes and we'll go from there.

I think those of us that attend most meets don't mind trying new places. Those that don't normally go or haven't gone to any of our meets will continue to do the same so that makes no difference, if one day we happen to pick a spot they like then they are more than welcomed to join us.

I don't think we're going to Denny's. We all communicated last night and are meeting at in&out in porter ranch from my understanding.

How about here? Plenty of food and shopping choices, close to the 118 and it has a nice parking lot. Rinaldi/Tampa just north of the 118
