Ok guys it has been expressed that a few people are not a fan of bobs big boy anymore and their service (or lack of) So I guess it's time to start the great parking lot debate again. Personally if we are going to go into this again. I want to move the meet;
A. Closer to the center of the sf valley not the farthest west end.
B. Somewhere closer to the freeway and easier to find
C. Somewhere we can all enjoy

So let me know what you guys think I am personally going to start thinking about a new spot maybe you guys can throw ideas out as well.

My number 1 goal here is to move the meet more central to the sf valley and to make everyone happy.

I've got no vote on location - Anyplace will be just as bad for me :) But on the good side, my Mustang has an estimated delivery date of Tuesday, 13th October... so maybe I might show up wherever you're at on the 15th. If PerfBlue15 doesn't steal my car first.

It appears that the majority of those that attend are closer to the deep end of the valley. Location is one reason why I haven't been to a meet. Personally I'd prefer east of the 405.

Do you have a spot in mind? We can try different locations.

Security is a problem at Porter Ranch.
Cops are a problem anywhere in Burbank.

I personally don't have and haven't experienced issues in Burbank. I have nothing to hide, so unless I get stopped for a legitimate issue I'm free to go about my business in Burbank as I currently do. Anyone can say any city has issues or have predisposed thoughts about particular areas. I choose to live and move about freely as I please.

I have no issues in Burbank either.
However, if you put cars together at a meet and you will.

BTW, it takes about 4 hours to get to Anaheim on a weekday afternoon or evening from the SFV.

I'm Not scared of burbank either I happen to live in Burbank and I've never been popped in town. The empire center is a burn for car meets but otherwise we have a lot of awesome spots in town. I borderline want to go old school and have a meet at hooters like when I ran the mustang.

So back to the venue change, I like the idea of burbank, and do agree the particular in and out you guys like is kind of a burn.

I kind of like the idea of doing our meet at the wing stop in Burbank it's a big lot and wing stop is good food. I am not opposed to other locations thiugb

Let's get some ideas going here guys

You also have folk from Ventura County and the Santa Clarita area as well.
Too far east will hinder them.
Maybe an East and West Valley meet point is appropriate.

Another thing to consider is atmosphere as well as price.
Conversation while eating at a Sports Bar is more difficult for example.
Menu options are also things to think about as some people have limited budgets and tastes.

These are just some thoughts.

I was thinking about the Denny's across from Galpin Ford.
On the east side and next to the 405, open all night so if you don't go in until after 9:00pm there is no problem.
This is better for those that don't get off work until 7:00 pm or have to deal with traffic.
You can stay seated longer not having to worry about them closing.
Their back room is available for us, with a diverse menu at reasonable prices.
The parking is good, also a Burger King and Taco Bell on the same lot.

I like your idea, but if we're meeting across the street from where I work, that's a meet I'm not going to. I want to be as far away from that place as possible when I'm off. lol
