Do the mazdaspeed3 guys even have an injector/HPFP solution yet? We could be waiting a while...

They have HPFP internal upgrades but not sure of injectors. Those pumps aren't sealed like the Focus/fiesta pump

http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/forum/f303/official-hpfp-ca-driven-fuel-pump-fuel-105248/
I've read about those, but even with that upgrade, aren't they limited to the 350-400whp area? Not really amazing on a 2.3L DFI engine... And its not that it can't make the power, its that it doesn't have enough fuel,
Unless... Of course, they resort to the same type system we are looking at using here. I would not really call a $400 upgraded stock HPFP a "solution" if it can't really support way more power.

We really shouldn't complain.. Its a 1.6L that can handle 330whp or so on straight fuel. E85 ( or M1 to some of us, wink ) seems to be what has everyone looking for big fuel systems, and really... What car can you buy right now that can handle 50-75% more power than stock AND E85 without upgrading about everything... We are just stuck with injectors we got, the first company that breaks out into machining out DFI injectors for all makes/models, is going to make a killing... I assume its not that simple since no one has done it though..

Montune sells bigger/better direct injectors for the 2.0 ecoboost, I'm sure they'll come out with something soon but until then I'm just going to use the 5th injector kit...

Injectors are not the problem. The high pressure fuel pump cannot keep up with the fuel demand. Upgraded Injectors would be useless.

That one one of the many reasons I got rid of my MS3. You're almost at the fuel pump's max stock. Remember reading many posts with the right conditions, the pump wouldn't supply the demanded fuel stock. I am speaking from the '10, I owned. Not sure if anything's changed since. To me, the MS3 just seemed like a regular Mazda3 they just added a turbo to, to increase power.

What question? Go look at the shape and design of the manifold and you'll see why a port system with the right controller set up wont pool.

A non-answer. It's perfectly fine to not be able to answer the questions. More than likely, it's because you don't have the means or humility to make an assessment. I see the type of person you are, so I'm done here.
