Got my under my car this weekend to make sure all my new mods were still tight and happy....Lookee what i found

Much like what others have been reporting with the Cobb pipes, my DepoRacing pipe also snapped at the mounting point. Thankfully, it didn't leave a hole. Already knowing what has happened to a few Cobb pipes, during install I tightened all the couplings before tightening the nut that attached it to the engine but it still snapped. And yes i have the Cobb RMM. I'll be contacting Depo for warranty support. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I'll be on vacation until 6/17 , we'll get a new pipe out. If this becomes normal, I will be chopping off the mount it's not needed once you clamp down with silicone couplers and t bolts provided.

Damn that's crazy man . I was just under my car today too because I was installing wing risers and symposer delete and everything nice and tight . Bracket still in place . I'm glad you're being taking care of.

Was going to say my bracket on Cobb pipe is broken and it stays on just fine with some good t bolt clamps on the couplings

I think adding a rubber spacer/mount like the Mishimoto Hot Pipe Kit will help absorb and allow some movement of the IC pipe to minimize this type of breakage.

Great idea. That makes total sense. On the replacement pipe I think i'll drill out the tab a bit and see if i can't find a rubber grommet to fit.

Hey Depo (@Depo_Racing) I assume you will have to fab this pipe or it would be shipping sooner? If so, would it be possible to weld on a wider tab? This would allow for more "meat" to remain when i drill it out for a rubber grommet. If possible....if not, no worries. Thanks again.

I would just ask for a bit of a refund or discount on another part if you want one and leave the pipe you have on the car, it will not go anywhere that way, the mount really is not needed.
