Fellas,

To compliment my "whoosh" decals that I added a few weeks ago I've done a hood design. Check it out. Special thanks to Canadian Guy for the intel on vinyl filiment tape which makes this quite simple. Lines are all perfect, got it first try. I might extend the stripes down onto the bumper later. Meh, I like it. $32 spent.

Can you do mine?

Looks so good. Might try the rally stripes next spring/summer for a little change up. Vinyl is cheap and easy to undo. The razor tape make it so easy.

Hey, jeff CanadianGuy !

What's the "vinyl fitment tape" "razor tape" trick of which you speak (I'm interested in doing something in vinyl, down the road)?

Yeah that's the junk, the stuff is amazing. The important thing is to lay the filament tape down correctly, straight, etc. Measure nine times, cut once. I spent an hour on these stripes, 55 of those minutes was measuring and remeasuring and remeasuring to make sure it was perfect. Laying the tape, laying the vinyl, and cutting it took 5 minutes.

Thanks for the compliments guys. All my local car friends gave it two thumbs up, I think it's a keeper. I thought of extending the lines down to the bumper but I think I'm gonna leave it as is.

Now, where else could I put some vinyl........
