Got it all installed on my non-nav version, this is rad! It may take a few on/off cycles to get everything fully working.

Shiny new boot screen

Confirmed v2.2

For AndroidAuto users, go to the AA specific menu and enable it.

This screen will come up asking to continue, make sure to allow permissions on your phone as well so Sync can access it

First loading of AA

Just noticed you listen to thrice that's nice!

One thing that seems different on mine is the word PRODUCT after the version and I have no gracenote version either....

Any way outside of forscan/ dealership to go back to a previous version?

I have two questions:
- If my 2016 is using version 2.0, am I unable to update to version 2.2?
- How do I verify if my USB hub is CarPlay-enabled?
I have a 16 built in November and it did not have the new USB hub.

Confirmed update on 2016 Fiesta ST with NON-NAVIGATION and Apple CarPlay Hub:

Used a separate memory stick for each of the two updates. The first took about 20 minutes and the second about 10. I did this using the old hub and then had to swap to the new hub to enable use of Apple CarPlay. I upgraded my USB hub to GJ7Z-19A387-B from Tasca Parts who had it in stock last week (took about 8 days to receive). Link below:

http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/gj7z19a387b

Hope this helps anyone with compatibility concerns.

I need friends in the states I'd pay just as much in shipping as what the parts worth lol

I noticed, compared to the original download package, that after downloading the new install package from Ford - the files are different and it uses a single flash drive for the official install session as opposed to two.

However, I haven't installed yet. My problem last night was that I only had a usb3 flash drive and the new hub refused it and said it was drawing too much power so I have to go get a usb2 drive somewhaere today. Hopefully that will work fine.

Update:
I can confirm maybe the first case of failed installation with the official release. The flash drive is formatted to ex-fat per Ford's directions. All files were loaded on per Ford's instructions. Instantly upon plugging in the flash drive, I received a notification that installation failed. I unplugged the drive and it said "the drive has been removed, installation will continue when the drive is reinserted." I reinserted the flash drive and waited 30 minutes. Nothing at all happened over the next 30 minutes. Nothing at all, no notifications, nothing. I turned the car off and I'm still on version 1.

I did the update today and it worked fine. I was coming from version 1.0, though.

The different files might be because the official only has Fiesta bits in it. The leak works on multiple vehicles.

I had called Ford because it wouldn't give me the download file initially . On the phone they told me to ensure you transfer the files to the USB individually. As in the three files. So the myford touch folder , the auto install file , and the dontindx.msa file.

Mine was odd because I installed over the bootleg version so my phone information was still there for android Auto and BT audio

Any differences from bootleg in function or stability?
