i can get the mishi for 330 shipped to me, and since i mostly autox, i want the larger fluid capacity to stave off heat soak, i am co driving my car and it will work better as the car is going to run for 45sec, then sit for 2-3 min, then run again
That is a pretty good price
If my rad fuck itself one day i was thinking of going mountune tho

Any feedback on the konis with swift springs in regards to ride quality? I am running those springs on stock struts and love the performance, but the daily driving is starting to drive me nuts. Do you think the ride quality is improved over stock?
it rides a ton better than eibach springs on stock shocks

i dont remember how it rode stock lol

i with i had some more rate though, i still thing 212lbs is too soft. id rather something like 250front and 225 rear, with the motion ratio the rear wheel rate would end up being higher anyway

ONE of the reasons I'm holding out hope (maybe futilely?) for the GC coil over conversion setup becoming a reality, as then one CAN choose their OWN spring rate in 10 lb. in. increments! [wink]

In reality, just how much pain is it to adjust the Koni Sports for this car?
Do the rear dampers HAVE TO BE dropped completely out in order to adjust rebound?
Can the fronts be gotten to without totally removing the cowl? [dunno]

the fronts i just left 1 brake res screw finger tight, i pull that and fronts are good to adjust.

the rears if you pill the bumpstops completely out, you can just unbolt the bottoms and push them all the way up and turn, if you dont do that, then you have to take them out, take them apart, then reinstall.

guess what one i did?

For the GC setup, i am working with them and staying in touch, they are telling me that are working on, it, our last emails he was asking me about a camber plate vs OEM non camber plate setup, what way id prefer it to be.

I was wondering since you are going to install the rad, everyone says you have to have almost all the front of the car out but from what i saw in the service manual, doesnt look like it. I wonder if about it

Pretty sure not........ unless rules changed lately that I didn't know of lol.
He runs SCCA street touring right?
per SCCA manual : https://dk1xgl0d43mu1.cloudfront.ne...ion-14-street-touring-category.pdf?1484692402

the only thing i could find for radiator/engine cooling is seccion 14.10 PART L
Engine cooling radiators may be replaced with alternate parts subject to
the following restrictions:
1. Radiator core dimensions (width, height, thickness) cannot be smaller
than the standard part.

2. Radiator must mount to OE radiator mounts
3.Fluid capacity and dry weight of the radiator must be no less than that
of the standard part. Installation of an alternate radiator may serve no
other purpose (e.g., to allow a cold air intake passage).

i think he is in the clear imo

Rad swap is legal as long is it is not smaller or less weight as noted above, IC upgrades are illegal for ST though.

i can run whatever i want for cooling honestly, i may put an external oil cooler too

You going to install the radiator the mishimoto way (taking the whole front out) or the service manual way

Service manual says it goes out from the bottom, i can pm you the pics if you want. Always wanted to know if you can do it the service manual way with the mishimoto one since it is so big, i think you can imo but don't know. That is one of the main reasons i that puts me off with the mishi one since no one hasnt confirmed it yet if you can install it this way, i know the mountune one you can, that is why i am considering it more than mishi, i am a lazy fuck also lol
