Dang it.

But no bad news, correct?? They’re still en-route?

Not impatient as winter is here and the car is used less, just curious of course.

This thread should be notification that these aren’t easy to come by anymore! If anyone wants them, better get what’s there on this order!!

Well, after a chat with Ron, it appears as though we're waiting on M2's product to make it's way over to the States. The largest delay coming from the fact that M2 doesn't have a full container worth of goods coming and had to wait until there was a full container load being sent to the USA port in order for it to actually ship out. The product itself may have been ready to ship from the factory a long time ago but it's been sitting at the port waiting.

It seems as though things are at least en-route now so fingers crossed I'll have these by April!

Coming up on a year of waiting for these... I'm really starting to wonder if M2 Motoring has actually manufactured more of these than just the original run.

Thankfully time is on my side, I'll wait some more I guess and if I get fed up of waiting probably move the funds in to an LSD.

This feels like a discontinued product, even though Whoosh still has them on the site (with a December 2018 delivery date). I've tried but I can't fall in love w/ the open flares like Fury Motoring's and I think that SS Tuning's are over styled.

Maybe it's time to put together a poll to gauge interest is another set of flares for the FiST as there seems to be a gap left by M2 Motoring's apparent departure.

I was really, really thinking of making molds of the flares once I received them.

Perhaps learn to lay down carbon fiber... would be pretty slick to have a CF set of flares (home made at that),

Totally agree regarding the open flares, they just don't float my boat.

The M2 flares are out of stock until further notice
Just spoke to M2, they have no idea of actual ETA so we have refunded all pending orders for now or until there is actual news of stock arrival in the US

sorry for any issues this may have caused

Sigh..., so that leaves us with SS Tuning, which I could learn to love but only adds 2cm of flare (not big enough for 17x9) and Fury, which I can't fall in love with.

I so want a 17x9 with a 245/40 on this car.

I'm not giving up, we just don't want to hold orders this long anymore.
I still think M2 is the best looking and fitting flare for the Fiesta ST. I'm not a fan of the half flares although the SS Tuning is quite nice if you have a professional body guy do the install. They are not as forgiving as bolt on flares.

They're not available / discontinued and Ron has refunded my order (which was in his hands for a year or so).

So at this stage I lost money in the original exchange rate transaction (VISA mark up), I lost money in the refund transaction (VISA markup + Exchange rate difference) and I still have fucked up fenders.

Yay.

Don't rely on M2 to manufacturer these again - very disappointing they were such a limited run. If I ever get my hands on a set I'll be making a carbon fiber copy complete with molds.

You should probably just give up on M2 Motoring. Their customer support is non - existent.
