Admin,

Any specifics on how this feature works?

If one ignores someone, does the ignored member still have access to posts from the one doing the ignoring on the forums to read and respond, vice a versa?

Or

Is does the one being ignored not have access to any post from the one doing the ignoring and vice a versa?

Any details on how this feature works would be appreciated, thanks.

As I understand it.
The person being ignored can still do every on the forum as normal.
The person doing the ignoring just will not see any of it.
You could always test it by ignoring someone.
Then un-ignore them to see what you missed.
I don't think I can get anymore of the word ignore in a single paragraph.
Wait, just ignore me if I a, wrong. LOL

If you ignore someone, all it does is sorta hide their posts from you. It will show up as a hidden post like "alexrex20 has commented but it is hidden. Click here to unhide it." On Tapatalk it completely hides the posts from view. On a desktop, it shows the little blurb but it does in fact hide the content so you don't get offended. ;)

The feature seems kinda weak if that’s how it works. I was just curious of how it works and if it actually gets used.

I thought about testing it out, but didn’t want to offend anyone if they saw that I ignored them, which from how it was described as working they would, LOL.

I was not aware that the ignoree could see that the ignorer was ignoring them.
As a STAFF member, I see every post, ignored, deleted, or whatnot.

Can you also see previous edited versions of a post as well?

People that you ignore will never know that you ignore them, unless you tell them.

But they can still read and respond to my posts right? If that’s the case, it’s not worth the trouble. There are certain individuals whom I would never socialize with in person and in a perfect setting I wouldn’t have to see their jibberish and vice a versa in this medium. But that’s the reality of this type of medium, you in the asylum with the rest of them.

When you ignore someone, it just hides their posts from you. If you want to completely block someone it can be done from the admin level.

There you go koozy.
I didn't know that could be done.
However, I did know that someone could be blocked from everyone. LOL

It worked out for me.
Most of her family is still in Japan.
And I never learned to speak the language. :)

I wish I would ignore some people. We all know who.
