I am interested in deleting the grill completely. DiVinci has a pretty cool kit for front crash bar and light mount but they've been out of stock for a while. Does anyone know of a grill delete (without crashbar/light so forth) that anyone is offering?

Just pull the grill out. The crash bar underneath is kinda ugly but I've seen some folks sticker bomb it and it looked kinda cool, IMO.

I would like something to cover the mounting tabs other wise I would. I agree on the crash bar. I'm likely going to spray it black to minimize appearance.

Once you finish, post some pictures, I'm interested to see how it looks!

I used a combonation of ofla knife and angle grinder to cut the grill out, drilled the two corners. flapper disk and sandpaper to smooth the remaining trim ring and some gloss black spray paint to finish it off.

Wow, it looks great. I figured you built a trim kit for the circumference of the hole. Looks great, thanks!

Stay away from Davinci...a couple of members have had problem's with them. But just maybe they cleaned up and are doing orders again. But I doubt it.

I don’t think there’s any chance that would happen. That would be a huge expense as the mfg would have to crash test multiple cars in a certified lab.

When I got my new front bumper cover I cut out the grill tabs and painted it, I have the DaVinci crash bar and intercooler as a reference.

Shit it cost that much? Damn
It changes the structure of the car. It's probably as safe as the steel bar it replaces, but nobody knows for sure until it's mounted on several cars and they're all crash tested. BIG money.

True I suppose just figured by now we'd have a way of testing the strength of crash bars, without totalling cars

I'm sure that you could build a fixture that would load the two crash bars in a bunch of different ways that would compare their strengths in a vacuum, but that doesn't mean anything once you bolt them to a car and examine the system as a whole in how it protects the occupants of the car under test, a car striking it, and pedestrians struck by it.
