I wish that I had the disposable income for this, as it is my 'dream/lottery car' (even though I refuse to own another black car!), as much as an R34 GTR, Senna edition NSX, or MKIV is to all of the Nippon import fans on here, and it is really close by as well! [:(]

The only thing I would want more is an evolution upgraded RS200!

Looks like Adam at tuneplusinc has the current high bid. We might be seeing this around my neck of the woods sometime [emoji16] It would be pretty awesome to see in person!

I had a good conversation with an engineer for Cosworth and asked him why Cosworth was so sought after for their engines for race applications. After he talked and talked it came down to they didn’t blow up. I asked him if he ever heard of David Mountain. He said no. I showed him my build and then sent him to look at Mountune (which David Mountain founded). He was amazed at the fact he never heard of Mountune. He looked deeper into his web search at the bar we were at and eventually he gave a knowing smile. Btw Roush owns Mountune now. Lots of history and knowledge if you search David Mountain. Enjoyable if you like fast Fords 🚀🚀🚀

^^That IS strange that he never heard of Mountune, since they actually built all of the engines (including for all of the Cossie headed YBT Escort Cossie RSes and WRCs) for the Ford World Rally team campaigns, right on up to the 2nd gen Focus WRC cars, at which time M-Sport moved the engine program 'in house' in Cumbria.

Ended at $40K and didn't hit the reserve...

I wonder what he wanted for it.
