So after the nightmare that I went through with my first FiST (Ford replaced the engine and the car fell apart after) I decided it wasn’t worth the continual hassle of fixing it / visiting the dealer, so I traded it in for a 2019 Orange Spice. No options besides Recaro seats.

This car is my daily driver, even though I have tracked it when it was stock turbo. Since installing the big turbo I have not tracked the car, even though the parts and general look make it seem like I do. One day it will see the track again but currently I'm still working on getting comfortable with it.

Current power: 310whp / 300wtq. Stock fuel system. 93 oct & 49/51 water meth injection w/ single 375ml nozzle.

Day 1

We went 0 to full send within 100 miles, and I had the pleasure of driving the car across Florida to bring it home.

Its nice to not have to wonder what random part will fail next... The other car had less than 30k on it. It didnt make any sense.

Sometimes, you just get a lemon. I'm sure this one will treat you much better.

I wish it had been a lemon. But it was negligence on the part of a Ford Dealer that caused it to go downhill.

Was there any deal worked out with Ford on the trade in or did you eat the lost?

I actually work for corporate for a nationwide dealership chain, and they were able to help me out more than the original dealer (who worked on the car) ever even offered. I ended up chewing my negative equity up and getting Recaros.

Threw on my Maxton wing extension the other day and finally installed my GReddy exhaust last night. I’m so happy with everything so far.

I love the wing extension. It’s subtle but gets the job done nicely, and the exhaust is awesome. Even with my stock downpipe. It’s deep and throaty, not like the MBRP or the other loud ones.

Any reviews on the Koni oranges paired with swift springs? Any drone with the greddy exhaust? Love the setup!

Time for an update:

I also re-located my catch can when I got the 2J intake.

Any more pics of how you mounted it? I hated how jumbled everything was in that area with the DM OCC and 2J Intake right next to the strut tower, intake is in a box until I figure out a mounting solution but it looks like you used the provided bracket attached to what exactly?

So what I did was unbolt my horn, the 2019 only has a single tone and its on a straight bracket. I bolted the catch can to it and used a short ground wire / zip ties to secure the horn around the opposite side of the bracket.
