I have been working with them on some ECU issues on a Mazda. They aren't bad, car ended up having a problem they haven't seen before. The shop foreman drives a FoST. Bought my car from them and plan on taking it in for a few warranty things in the near future.

I run the CP-E install shop here in MD if you ever need any work done.
Sorry for the shameless plug.

I bought my car at Koons Silver Spring since they were willing to go find the one I wanted, but I live in Arlington. I went to them for my first oil change at maybe 800 mi and it blew their mind that I wanted my oil change that early. I would have just done it myself, but they offer the first one free when you buy from them, so I just did it there. I told them they didn't need to do a full service just to change the oil, but they said they had to do everything. It took over an hour. Make of that what you will.

Any suggestions on where to get rally armor mud flaps installed? Or is anyone able to do it/help me with it? I don't trust myself to not fuck it up due to the whole drilling needed/me living on a tiny street in DC. I asked in the CapitalST group on FB and of course got made fun of instead of some useful answers, heh. Yes, I know it's a pretty simple process, I'd just rather have someone do it right the first time.

You can bring it in to CP-E and I can do it, although it would have to wait until after SEMA.

And that's why I like this place more than the FB groups! I'll stop by after SEMA, and before DC starts putting boulders of salt on the road :D Thanks CP-E Mitch!

Welcome to the forum, Ebow. I live in Arlington but work out in Fairfax and drive a black FiST also. Haven't done any local meets, but let me know if you find any good ones.

On an unrelated note, my apartment complex has shut off all the outdoor spigots for the winter (despite the fact that it is going to be in the 60s all week), which put a damper on my plans to wash and wax the car today. Took it to a gas station I know on Route 7 but they only had one stall open and there were 5 or 6 people waiting. Anyone know any any good car washes (preferably self-service) in the Arlington/Falls Church/Fairfax area? I'm loathe to take it to Mr. Wash or one of those places and would prefer not to have to drop $40-50 to have it detailed. Thanks.

Not really in that area but I usually drive up to germantown to go to the flagship carwash. Early afternoon its usually pretty dead and as log as no one is waiting they are cool with bucket washing. Also the drive out there can be fun.

Actually it looks like they have a car wash place on Braddock Road in Alexandria too. Only about 15 minutes from me so I will have to give it a shot. Thanks.

That's awesome, I think it would be a great idea to do like a weekly meet up at your SB

Anyone can use my house from time to time long as your gentle on water usage. I live in Sterling across 28 from Carmax.

2J Racing intake with percut lower cowl will be going up for sale soon. I need you stock lower cowl.. Will cut u a really good price. oh and its wrapped in gold bling bling heat tape.
Trying local first so I don't have it to order a lower cowl from Ford.
