Welp, after a week with the Cobb OTS stage 2 tune, I just pulled the trigger on a dizzy stage 2 flash tune, hope it was a good decision. Anyone else have this, thoughts?
I'll be watching this space closely as I have Whoosh V1 FMIC coming next week and I've been on the fence about which tuner to go with.

I've had stage 2 for a few thousand miles and it's a strong tune, even on 91 gas. I get 30.8 combined mpg with it.

Cobb has updated all of their tunes and are running version 506. I am convinced that these updates are more competetive with the tuner OTS maps. Here is what I consistantly read off of the AP, caveat being these numbers are computer generated but still seems reasonable to compare relativly. 93 octane

Cobb Stage2 (ver. 506) : 220hp, 273 torque

Dizzy Stage2: 197hp, 250 torque

The tuners (tune+, Stratified, Dizzy, etc) are based in the older versions. My Dizzy and Strat are running Version 500. The plus side of the tuners is the customizability, but I have been most happy with Cobb's newer versions. You can always just switch maps to suit your driving style

I'm completely stock and got protuned on 93 and E30. I have the virtual dynos to track the gains in the vdyno thread.

I wonder if I have a boost leak. According to my data logs, the boost max's at 26.1 at 4.5 seconds and then after 6 seconds its at 24 and falling, at 7 seconds at 20, at 9 seconds its down to 16. Is this normal on e30 wot?

These microturbos can't run full boost to redline. Jason is reducing boost and adding timing as the RPM's go up.

According to my 4th gear datalog from a few weeks back, boost peaked at 26.25 at ~3200 rpm (4.3s) and then started falling off. Jason said the logs looked great and I didn't notice it while driving, so I assume that's normal. I think you need to disregard the seconds, because that's going to vary for each log... rpm is a better milestone in my opinion.

I’m seeing 20psi peak boost, then it tapers down a bit on the cobb ots tune stage 2. Crapola az 91 octane, it was like 113 degrees today, summers here are not a good idea to do spirited driving 🤬.

Consider meth injection. Only way to get boost temps below ambient.
